Keaton and Delaney met in April of 2024 through a church volleyball group, where Keaton first noticed Delaney “bouncing around the volleyball court like Tigger.” When Delaney sent an invitation to her college graduation party in the volleyball group chat, Keaton took it as his moment to make a move and text her to let her know he would definitely be there. After just one day of texting, Keaton didn’t waste any time asking Delaney out on their first date at Barnie’s Coffee on Park Avenue.

Over the next year and a half of dating, Keaton and Delaney grew deeper in love and commitment to one another, strengthened by their shared faith and their relationships with the Lord. They both have joyful personalities and big hearts for people, and their strengths beautifully complement each other—Keaton’s servant heart paired with Delaney’s peaceful spirit. Along the way, they discovered they are truly each other’s best friends.

In November of 2025, Delaney traveled to Tennessee to serve at her church’s high school fall retreat, Eagle Rock—a place that has held a special place in her heart since serving as summer staff there beginning in 2019. At the end of the retreat, Keaton surprised Delaney at Eagle Rock, overlooking the breathtaking Great Smoky Mountains, and asked her to marry him. Delaney said yes!

They are incredibly grateful for everyone who has supported, mentored, and encouraged them—both individually and as a couple—leading them to this sacred moment of committing their lives to one another. They are excited for what the Lord has in store for their future together and cannot wait to celebrate with their favorite people on April 10, 2026
